Bio

Gail Sutherland is originally from Montreal and moved to Nova Scotia in the spring of 1990. She obtained her Fine Arts degree at John Abbott College then completed her BFA at Concordia University, with a specialization in graphic design. Gail has studied with such artists as: Helmut Gerth, Judy Garfin, Alvaro Castagnet and Brian Atyeo. Her work can be found in many private and corporate collections worldwide.



Description of artist's work

Gail is a member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour. Primarily a landscape painter, her work is representational with elements of abstraction, leaving room for the imagination.
