Description of artist's work

Jack Gray, a talented marine artist born in Nova Scotia, studied at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, went on to become one of the great artists depicting the East Coast inshore fishery. Gray also lived in the US, and was known for depictions of marine scenes around New York City.
