Bio

Presently, Mary Ellen McMurtry resides in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. In 2013, McMurtry returned to Nova Scotia after completing her Master of Interior Design (MID) at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, MB. McMurtry attended the Nova Scotia College Art and Design (NSCAD) from 1993-95. She worked closely with Susanne Heller who changed the dynamics of her art work and began to bring her feelings out into each sketch and painting of urban cityscapes
