On now in the Mary E Black Gallery: Age of Aquarius A Juried Exhibition of Works by Craft Nova Scotia Members. The Woodstock Music and Art Fair took place over four days in August 1969. Over half a million people came to a dairy farm in Bethel, NY to see and hear performances from the likes of Jimi Hendrix, the Grateful Dead, the Who, Janis Joplin, and Jefferson Airplane. With Woodstock celebrating its 50th anniversary, we wanted to celebrate too. To that end, Craft Nova Scotia challenged our members to create works around the theme of the Age of Aquarius. On view until November 3rd, 2019.
