Damian’s approach to wildlife photography is to sit quietly and observe. His studies in zoology and the dharma arts taught him to see the beauty of nature through fresh perceptions. His images are often simple, spacious, and yet strongly expressive. Much of his photography comes from Sable Island in the Northwest Atlantic Ocean. Here, the wild and natural environment allows Damian to relax and open, and to see things as they are.
