She received the first NS Cultural Life Award and the Progress Club of Canada’s Women of Excellence Award in Arts and Culture. She helped found Crafts NS and is a past president and Standards Chair, Honourary Member and designated Master Artisan. She also founded the Halifax Studio School of Pottery and One Off Studio and is published in books, mags.
