Bio

Her current work represents an intuitive inquiry into the processes and patterns displayed in the landscape and the human body/mind. She bases her work loosely on her own photographs, sometimes manipulating and printing them in various innovative ways. Using a variety of layering, scraping and dripping techniques, she creates oil paintings and assemblages in her Halifax studio. The work can be seen in Halifax at the AGNS, Teichert Gallery and my Artz Studio/Gallery and in Wolfville, at Harvest Gallery.

Lynda creates colourful paintings in oil on canvas or board. The work is inspired by ecological, spiritual and psychological perspectives and oscillates between representation and abstraction.
