Bio

Gail Sutherland is originally from Montreal and moved to Nova Scotia in 1990. She completed her BFA at Concordia University, with a specialization in graphic design and is an elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour. In 2018 Gail was featured in the "The Art of Watercolour”, which highlighted her painting process and the landscape of Nova Scotia. Her work is exhibited and collected locally and Internationally.



Description of artist's work

Gail is a member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour. Primarily a landscape painter, her work is representational with elements of abstraction, leaving room for the imagination.
