Bio

Devon Berquist is a visual artist from the Yukon Territory working primarily in digital & analogue photography. After attending a Foundation Year program in Dawson City, YT, she completed her BFA with a major in photography at NSCAD U in Halifax, NS in 2017. Her work has taken her to the Arctic several times and since graduation, she has been busy participating in artist residencies, both in Canada and abroad.

Description of artist's work

Through digital and analogue photography, Devon's artistic practice explores the intersections of communications, remoteness, and geography with particular regards to the circumpolar north.
