Bio

Mostly self taught, Denise has enriched her knowledge and skills through workshops with established artists, and through membership in the art group Artspa. Painting provides Denise with endless joy and challenge. With color, balance, and simplicity she seeks to evoke the quietness , beauty and calm inspired by her subject matter. Her work has been in group shows and is also available through Teichert Gallery in Halifax . Commissions accepted.

Description of artist's work

Denise paints in acrylic in a highly impressionistic style. Landscapes, seascapes and traditional Nova Scotia structures.....fish stages,old farmhouses are favourite subject matter. She also does abstracts.
