Bio

In Halifax since 1985, Paulette Melanson grew up in Scoudouc, a village in rural New Brunswick. She has been drawing and painting ever since she can remember. Her art education includes courses at NSCAD and the Montreal Visual Arts Centre; also workshops and studio sessions from teachers she highly respects. Her art work is based on visions, dreams, the outdoors and personal life experience. Other education includes: BSc, BEd, and MEd.

Description of artist's work

Influenced by nature and her Acadian background, Paulette is an intuitive abstract painter who also paints landscapes. Galleries: Art Zone, Teichert Gallery, Going Coastal and Visual Voice Fine Art.
