Shannon began her artistic adventure in 2010 when she became instantly addicted to glass after taking her first flamework course. Once immersed in the world of glass, she became the President of the local Flamework Society and taught glasswork through the NSCCD. Being a longtime sewist, Shannon began working in leather in 2017. She finds leather a medium of infinite possibilities, especially when using reclaimed and unique materials.
