Shannon Gough

Shannon Gough, Studio Tour Artist

Shannon creates leather purses, wallets and accessories using reclaimed leather and fish leather. She also works in glass, making fused and flameworked fine craft pieces.
Shannon started her artistic adventure in glass in 2010. She was immediately addicted after taking her first flamework course. She is the Past President of the Flamework Society in Nova Scotia. Shannon teaches flameworking (also known as lampworking) and has taught at NSCCD. In 2017, she began working in leather. This medium is a perfect fit for her years of experience as a sewer and a quilter. Working with reclaimed and unique types of leather, creates infinite possibilities for her.
