Kim’s photography is built on the premise that no matter the genre, images need to make you feel something, take you on a journey, tell a story. Emotion and mood play important roles in her photographic vision and are integral in the overall story.
Kim has had a camera of one sort or another in her hand since she was seven years old. She began midlife developing her photographic eye. Kim’s work, primarily focusing on portraits (although she creates in many other genres with the same philosophy), originates from the tapestry of her deep-seated life experiences. Although not formally trained, Kim has completed countless in-person and online photography workshops and has experienced firsthand some of the country’s most talented and innovative photographers’ insights into being a creative artist. Always learning, Kim’s goal is to continually produce better work than the day before.
