As a teenager he became interested in photography, mostly landscapes. His camera is always with him when travelling. His skill level and scope of interest in photography have benefited from being a member of the Photographic Guild of Nova Scotia since 2004 and of the Canadian Association of Photographic Art since 2005. Freeman Patterson has had a huge influence on his approach to photography. When he is making photographs, time flies and he is energized. His exploration and evolution as a photographer continue.
