Laurie Publicover Mireau, Studio Tour Artist

Laurie's maritime paintings feature scenes from the South Shore, NS. Her watercolours and acrylic paintings often include wharfs and boats. She also enjoys painting buildings and street scenes from Halifax.
Laurie became a teacher and during four summer breaks, she enrolled at NSCAD completing 16 full-time courses for her art specialist license. Later, she studied 46 courses at the UofA Extension program in art and completed her MEd in Art Education in Edmonton.
