From a cozy studio, Irwin works with painting, stone sculpture, drawing, and assemblage. A graduate of Georgian College and NSCAD, she has been creating, gardening, writing and teaching in the Hacketts Cove Community since 2004. Represented by 14 Bells Fine Art Gallery, she recently finished a large body of imagined bouquet paintings, hosts a weekly Drawing Night, and has created a local art program for kids.
