Inspired by the natural world of his native province, R. J. Marchand has been painting for thirty years, almost exclusively in acrylics and watercolours. Combining realism and abstraction, his seascapes and realistic portrayals of animals and birds are the hallmark of his work. His paintings can be found at local galleries such as 14 Bells Gallery in the Hydrostone Market and at his studio.
