Inspired by the natural world of his native province, R. J. Marchand has been working for thirty years almost exclusively in acrylics, inks, and watercolours. His realistic portrayals of animals and birds are the hallmark of his work. Since opening his studio in Black Point, seascapes and marine birds have become a regular feature of many of his paintings.
