Art OFF the Map

Halifax Art Map's annual exhibition, Art Off the Map, literally takes it off the map and places it on a gallery wall. 2020's exhibition hosted by Teichert Gallery was likely the first major virtual exhibition of the pandemic in Halifax. The exhibition, originally scheduled to open for in person viewing on March 18, pivoted quickly to become an online event due to the nimble, creative thinking of Teichert director, Andrea Smith. We will keep you posted about plans for 2021 as they are available. In the meantime visit Halifax galleries and artists virtually or in person where available, find art you love and buy local art!
2020's exhibition featured works by: Anne Launcelott, Kay stanfield, Rose Adams, Barbara M. Schmeisser, Raquel Roth, Patricia Lindley, Kit Clarke, Colleen Underwood, Debbie Mosher, Lynda Shalagan, Kathrryn Harley Hanes, Roxanne Smith, Doug van Hemessen, Philip Hodges, Gail Sutherland, Mary Jane Lundy, Denise Lanterman, Theresa Young, Rosemary Clarke Young, Andrea Pottyondy, Kristen Herrington, Jacquie Potvin Boucher, Paul Williams, Allan Neilsen, Michael Clutson, R.J.
