Doug bought his first camera at sixteen and has followed the photographic path, with some detours, since then. He graduated from Bealart in London, Ontario with a major in photography. He also has a degree in Geography. Over the years he has continued to photograph and exhibit while working as a conservation professional. He is a member of ViewPoint Gallery and currently resides in Halifax and Angevine Lake, Nova Scotia.
