Franz Fraitzl

His work is an expression of emotions as well as reflections of us as humans and the impact on the environment. Sometimes functional, decorative but always constructed of used and upcycled materials. See his work during Deeply Rooted at the Lunenburg Art Gallery August 27 to September 29. The exhibition opening reception is Friday August 30, 5-7 PM.
Franz Fraitzl is a recent addition to Nova Scotia. Born and educated in Germany, until recently he has brought his Art alive as a Special Effects Technician in the Vancouver Film Industry. Inspired by Land and Sea, Franz tries to use mostly repurposed materials. His favourite medium is rusty scrap steel.
